Harley Mind Care

Does a private ADHD diagnosis count for university DSA?

Yes. Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) applications require evidence of a diagnosis from a suitably qualified professional. A diagnosis from a GMC-registered consultant psychiatrist/paediatrician at a CQC-registered clinic such as Harley Mind Care meets this requirement. You will need to submit your diagnostic report as part of your DSA application. We write our reports to include the functional impact of ADHD on learning and daily life, which is the evidence Student Finance England requires. If you have already been assessed and need a supporting letter or updated evidence for DSA purposes, we can provide this. Please contact hello@harleymindcare.com.
