Tracy Collingwood — NHS Neurodevelopmental Nurse Specialist
Tracy Collingwood is an NHS Neurodevelopmental Nurse Specialist with extensive experience in health visiting, midwifery, and public health nursing. She is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and brings a holistic, family-centred approach to her work. Tracy has a strong background in the assessment and support of children with neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She is trained in gold-standard diagnostic tools such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), and contributes to multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessments.
Tracy’s career has spanned a range of roles, including Specialist Health Visitor for an ASD project and Health Visitor in KCHFT, where she delivered targeted support, early intervention, and developmental reviews. Her training pathway includes specialist qualifications in public health nursing and midwifery, as well as ongoing professional development in neurodevelopmental and communication approaches. Tracy is committed to safeguarding, early identification of developmental needs, and working collaboratively with education and multidisciplinary professionals.
